Standard PDF files are designed to be final, making them difficult to correct or annotate without expensive software. Our PDF Editor breaks that barrier, allowing you to add text, highlights, freehand drawings, and geometric shapes directly onto any PDF page. Whether you are correcting a typo, marking up a draft, or filling out a non-interactive form, our editor provides the tools you need in a simple, browser-based interface.

When you need to modify a "final" PDF

Architects and engineers use PDF editing to mark up site plans with corrections or "as-built" notes before sharing them with contractors. Teachers use it to grade digital assignments, adding highlights to key passages and typing feedback directly onto student submissions. In business, editing is essential for filling out government forms (Borang) that were not saved with interactive fields — you simply type your information as a text layer. It is also perfect for "redlining" contracts during negotiations in Malaysia and Pakistan, where you need to strike through or highlight specific clauses for discussion.

The "Stamps" panel (coming soon) will offer pre-made markers like "APPROVED", "REJECTED", and "CONFIDENTIAL" for one-click document processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit the existing text in the PDF?

No. This is an annotation editor — it lets you add new layers (text, shapes, highlights) on top of the original. To change existing text, use our PDF to Word converter, edit in Word, and save back to PDF.

Will my highlights be transparent or opaque?

Highlights are applied with 40% opacity by default, ensuring the underlying text remains perfectly readable while being visually emphasised.

Is there a limit to how many annotations I can add?

No. You can add as many text boxes, shapes, and drawings as you need. Very complex documents with thousands of annotations may take slightly longer to process.

Can I rotate the text I add?

Currently, text is placed horizontally. You can move text boxes anywhere on the page, but rotation is not yet supported for individual text elements.

Does editing the PDF reduce its quality?

No. Your original PDF is used as a background layer, and annotations are added as a vector overlay. The resolution of your source images and text remains identical.
